Minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience.
Experience in lending and/or finance business would be an advantage.

|RESPONSIBILITIES and ACCOUNTABILITIES|
|1||KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA'S)|
|•||All Customs and Excise related functions.|
|•||Managing and Controlling any Bonded Warehouses - Vehicles and Parts.|
|•||Taking ownership of Communications with Customs - ability to have detail discussions.|
|•||Take Ownership of all Import Documentation.|
|•||Check all Import Tariff Codes / Good understanding of Tariff Codes.|
|•||Manage all Shipments - both Import and Exports - maintian control of ETA Dates.|
|•||manage a Dashboard of Imports and Exports for Management Information.|
|•||Ensure that Incoming Containers (Parts / CBU) are cleared as quickly as possible - avoid Demurrage costs.|
|•||Ensure all Export Documentation is retained in accordance with the appropriate Inco Term used and SARS Customs requirements.|
|•||Communicate with the Clearing Agents.|
|•||Submit Payment documentation for Approvals for any Duties, VAT or Landed costs.|
|•||Ensure all Import Documentation is retained and Archived.|
|•||Preperation and follow up of Duty claim backs.|
