Responsibilities:
Consistently recruiting an excellent staff based on department requirements given.
Maintaining a smooth onboarding process.
Training, counselling, and coaching our staff.
Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
Carrying out necessary administrative duties.
Coordinating performance and wage reviews with Senior Management
Updating and Developing clear policies and ensuring policy awareness with all employees
Creating clear and concise reports.
Giving helpful and engaging presentations.
Maintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety compliance.
Maintaining a strong working relationship with the Company’s Labour Consultants
Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary and termination procedures together with the Company’s Labour consultants.
Maintaining employee and workplace privacy.

Workmen’s Compensation Letter of Good Standing Renewal
Workmen’s Compensation claims and the follow up thereof.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent. (This is a nice to have)
Experience in human resources or related field.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
Experience in educating and coaching staff.
Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.
Appropriate handling of sensitive information
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
Ability to give presentations.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Duties include but is not limited to:
Providing legal advice and opinions
Assessing legal and regulatory risks affecting the business and providing recommendation on possible risk mitigation steps
Contract management
Evaluating proposed legislation, understanding its impact on business operations and communicating implications of new or amended legislation with strategic proposals
Providing continuous updates on legal developments in South Africa relevant to business operations
Gathering opinions on specific legislative proposals
Identifying potential areas of legal risk and vulnerability for the organisation
