Account Manager: Response Handling

Human Resource, Training and Recruitment , Gauteng JHB - Northern Suburbs


We are looking for an Account Manager: Response Handling to be based in the Parktown, Johannesburg area.


  • Matric
  • 6 to 8 years recruitment experience in staffing solutions including response handling / learnership projects
  • Response handling account manager experience
  • Computer literate – MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proven track record in identifying and securing response handling projects across industries from inception to close off
  • Proven track record in recruiting either bulk volume recruitment or C- suite appointments in Public or Private sector
  • Good stakeholder relationships with media houses
  • Ability to manage key accounts
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Deadline driven and willing to work under extreme pressure
  • Understanding of Government sector and relevant structures
  • Second language will be an advantage
  • Valid drivers’ license and own vehicle 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Networking to ensure solid client database
  • Build and maintain sales to achieve business objectives
  • Secure appointments and close deals
  • Ability to identify leads in the market
  • Follow up on leads and secure meetings
  • Assist business by meeting all daily financial targets in your relevant income stream
  • Proactive drive to increase response handling market share
  • Identify, land and manage response handling client accounts in order to achieve growth across the various service offerings with a specific focus on response handling
  • Establish company objectives, goals, processes and plans in support of divisional and corporate strategic directions
  • Draft response handling proposals
  • Draft and complete response handling presentations and prepare response handling costings for clients
  • Prepare sales reports to track results
  • Manage and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers and clients
  • Meeting with clients/ line managers when needed to brief on positions
  • Conducting site visits with clients to better understand requirements and operations
  • Compile risk management assessments
  • Responsible for identifying and developing response handling solutions by securing new business and managing existing business
  • Establish, maintain and grow all business relationships with prospective as well as current clients
