Recruitment Coordinator

Human Resource, Training and Recruitment , North West Rustenburg


An opportunity for a Recruitment Coordinator is available in the Rustenburg area.

Inherent Requirements:

  • 5 years or more recruitment, admin, and HR coordination experience  
  • 2 years additional Recruitment and Selection experience with focus on recruiting applicants with mining (underground, opencast, or engineering) across all categories
  • Computer literate (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and candidates
  • Deadline driven and willing to work under extreme pressure
  • Strong approach to administrative tasks
  • Valid driver’s License with own reliable vehicle essential
  • Second and/or third official language - Preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide structure and support to production floor and management by means of accurate reporting
  • Coordinate and provide support of all administrative functions for branch
  • Assist in designing and implementing overall recruitment and administration processes within the branch
  • Sourcing, screening, interviewing, and evaluating candidates daily
  • Assist with proactive approach of relevant candidates by sourcing and assisting suitable / available candidates
  • Maintain a database of candidate records, including active and passive candidates
  • Maintain tracker spreadsheet from sourcing (including active and passive candidates) through to placement
  • Compiling of adverts and screening of responses
  • Ensure updated database of skill requirements
  • Performing in-person or virtual competency-based interviews, checks and references on applicants
  • Review and understand job requirements within the administration function
  • Meet reporting deadlines according to management requirements
  • Assist management, sales and recruitment staff with candidate bookings for interviews
  • Ensure all admin and recruitment documentation is up to system standards as well as policies and procedures based on specific function
  • Format CV’s according to client requirements and company processes
  • Providing all administration support to management and staff when needed
  • Manage and submit of activities sheets for relevant staff
  • Collate information for branch and management when required and identify improvement areas
  • Assist with client and candidate queries, evaluate risk prevention and / or control measures on management approval
  • Adherence to site / branch specific policies and procedures
  • Ensure quality of work produced by eliminating damage causing risks to branch, clients and candidates
  • Applying productivity improvement support techniques
