My client is an established engineering concern based in Somerset West. They have a position for a Tender / Financial Administrator. Knowledge of Bid preparations for a professional consultancy advantageous.

Duties:

  • Searching for relevant tenders on various platforms and distribution to management.
  • Co-ordination, compilation and completion of tender documents
  • Source and edit standard information required for tender submissions
  • Ensure that the bid process is followed, and proper templates are used
  • Coordinate collection of tender documents and tender delivery ensuring submissions are made on time. 
  • Submitting high quality completed tenders on time
  • Follow up on tenders submitted and maintain a database. 
  • Update all spreadsheets, databases and records. 
  • Ad-hoc Pastel Evolution Processing

Requirements: 

  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Professional skills must be above average
  • Excellent Planning and Time management capabilities
  • Good organisational and communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels and a high standard of spoken and written English;
  • Be able to multi-task with a strong 'Can do' attitude Able to function well in a highly pressurized, deadline-driven environment
  • Should be logical with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong editing and proof reading background
  • Uses independent judgment in completing activities and operate under general supervision.
  • Ability to motivate other members in the team
  • Non-compromising attitude on quality
