Digital Marketing Supervisor

Sales and Marketing, Gauteng Midrand

R 360000 - R 420000 Annually

Our client within the retail space is looking to employ a skilled Digital Marketing Supervisor based in the Midrand area, who will be responsible for input in developing, implementing and maintaining marketing strategies within the digital landscape.

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric
  • Marketing related degree
  • 2-4 years solid experience in digital marketing, campaign management, supplier management
  • Proven experience in a leadership role

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

  • In conjunction with the Marketing Manager and other team members within the marketing team, develop a relevant brand positioning platform and strategy which supports business objectives and growth
  • Develop a marketing plan and calendar, which details activities to be implemented during the financial year
  • Manage the pre-determined marketing budget and ensure that there is sufficient spend provided for, to achieve the objectives set and that all spend is allocated in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Analyze and report on profitability and trends
  • Design relevant campaigns to achieve the marketing objectives and selling targets set
  • To manage all aspects of print production, in terms of layout, pricing, branding and timeous distribution.
  • Managing and guide launch campaigns for new products.
  • Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows (where relevant), working with developers, advertisers, and production managers, to market products and services.
  • Report on all marketing initiatives and the effectiveness thereof.
  • Researching and evaluating new and existing customer needs and insights. Based on insights, ensure better marketing of products and services
  • When relevant, direct the hiring of new staff members within the marketing department
  • Oversee marketing team’s daily activities, training (where relevant), and conduct performance evaluations bi-annually of marketing staff
  • Manage and maintain current supplier relationships
  • Guide and conduct due diligence of new suppliers (where applicable)
