Head of Marketing and Analytics

R 540000 - R 660000 Annually

Our client is looking to hire an experienced Head of Marketing who will be responsible for Marketing Strategy and Analytics based in Woodmead.

Minimum requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Entrepreneurial, Science or Statistics is required
  • 5 years relevant experience ESSENTIAL
  • Must have management experience
  • You will be mathematically inclined, strategic, logical, analytical with a drive to increase customer value and grow bottom line
  • Ability to apply findings to marketing campaigns
  • High attention to detail and with strong technical ability

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Conceptualisation and execution of innovative, profitable and engaging promotions based on knowledge gained from internal analysis, competitor analysis, industry experience and online research
  • Manage team to drive motivation and overall delivery output
  • Play a key role in motivating the rest of the team
  • Always able to see and understand the wider team perspective
  • Supports the development of their team colleagues
  • Consistently overachieves targets
  • Manages multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Drive improved revenues, deposits, net contribution, activity and promotions by leading the technical channels, smart segmentation and paying careful attention to player indicators
  • Requests challenging assignments
  • Always seeking new business opportunities and growth
  • Is proactive in anticipating customer needs and expectation
  • Mobilizes all relevant internal resources to meet customer needs
  • Actively monitor reports, analyse, and drive daily, weekly and monthly reporting on key active metrics, fluctuations up and down, anomalies and trends to identify key opportunities for growth with a strong focus on bench-mark comparisons
  • Creates every opportunity to gather information about player personas and opportunity segments
