Digital Brand Manager

Sales and Marketing; Digital and Media , Western Cape CPT - CBD


Our client who runs a chain of coffee retailers is looking for an exceptional Digital Brand Manager to join their creative team based in Cape Town

Purpose of the role:

The successful candidate will responsible for implementing, driving and practicing digital technologies and techniques to achieving the marketing objectives for the brand, in a way that focuses on driving profitable sales, new customer acquisition and customer engagement/market share.

Minimum requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience within the following industries:
    • QSR
    • WSR
    • FMCG
  • Must have experience with the following skill set:
    • CMS
    • SEO
    • PPC
    • E-marketing
    • Social media
    • Analytics
    • Email Marketing
  • 360 media understanding
  • Ability to understand local and international trends
  • Passion for retail, the product, brand and customers

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following, but not be limited to:

  • Create and update digital marketing strategies that drive and support the brand to achieve its objectives as part of the overall Marketing and Communications plan. 
  • Manage and liaise with the application developer to drive application improvements and content management of the brand application
  • Management of the company website, Social Media Pages and Blog content.
  • Devise strategies to drive online traffic and continuing to improve usability, design, relevant content and conversion. 
  • Management of the online shop, loading & delisting products, working with the supply chain team to fulfill orders & dealing with customer service requests.
  • Setting up and managing campaigns to drive sales, utilizing other digital channels to drive lead generation & sales conversion.
  • Prepare monthly feedback reporting to Management and quarterly reviews on various segments.
  • Develop and manage online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness. Utilizing a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC.
  • Manage the online activities of all brand collaborations with ambassadors & partners
