Employee Engagement Executive

The role is required to develop and implement leading edge employee engagement interventions, provide insightful, innovative thinking and problem solving on critical people issues whilst continuously seeking to optimize employee engagement levels as to ensure the achievement of the organis ational vision and strategies.

This highly competent individual is seen as a social scientist; S/he must
understand the factors that motivate and engage employees. S/he is required to
provide insightful, innovative thinking and problem solving on critical people
engagement issues in the workplace. S/he should have extensive experience in
conceptualizing and developing customized leading edge employee engagement
interventions and solutions that incorporates best practice and the latest industry
trends. As an inspirational leader, the individual must have the ability to build and work with great teams and lay the platform for the creation of a performance driven culture and attractive employee value proposition.

The main purpose of this role is to provide enabling support and coaching to line managers for them to lead employees and translate Company Vision 2024 and Strategic Intent in relation to the effective and efficient execution of employee engagement processes in order to enhance the overall employee
experience and employee value proposition. The role is required to develop and implement leading edge employee engagement interventions, provide insightful, innovative thinking and problem solving on critical people issues whilst continuously seeking to opt imize employee engagement levels as to
ensure the achievement of the organisational vision and strategies.

Minimum Qualification and Experience Required
Relevant Master’s or Honours ( Postgraduate Diploma (NQF 8) AND 12- 15 years'
experience in a similar large public or private corporate environment, of which 4 -6 years at a senior level responsible for linking employee engagement, coaching and performance of individuals toward enterprise strategy achievement.

PEOPLE
Performance Management of staff for effective Employee Engagement & Performance Excellence
Engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective management of interdependencies
Strong coaching ability to support line managers towards world-class employee engagement

PROCESS AND GOVERNANCE
Partner with key subject matter experts across the organization to design, develop and deliver initiatives to drive employee engagement.
Create a strong transformational partnership that supports capability building in management coaching and embed stewardship competencies to improve employee engagement.
Create alignment around a common value proposition for all employees by enabling a strong employer brand and a culture anchored on organizational values.
Provide business advice and support aimed at building organisational cohesion, health and agility to drive an increase in engagement levels.
Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing employee workplace experiences that connect, motivate, and inspire people to deliver on organisational strategic goals.
Facilitate deployment of assessment and diagnostic tools to provide engagement insights to leadership and management.
Develop strategic engagement initiatives to address organisational climate challenges, monitor and evaluate timeous execution of remedial actions.
Develop tools and techniques to coach and support supervisors and their teams to realize greater employee satisfaction, development and engagement.

FINANCIAL
Prepares Business Unit Resource plan.
Accountable for the effective husbanding of all financial and material resources within the Business Unit.
Complies with all requirements of PFMA and relevant Treasury and Company policies and regulations.
