A leading pharmaceutical company has a vacancy for a Regional Sales Manager, to manage a team of Professional Sales Representatives calling on Pharmacies and detailing Doctors within the Johannesburg East and North regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Management

  • Managing a team of Sales Representatives within Johannesburg North and East regions 
  • Ensuring Regional & Divisional sales and objectives are met
  • Prioritizes effectively and in accordance with corporate company objectives
  • Management of expenses in line with budget/ revised forecast

Customer Relationships

  • Ensuring ccustomer targets in all key areas will have been achieved
  • Working closely with sales teams to ensure relationships are maintained

Analysis and Reports

  • Accurate forecasting & sales tracking
  • Accurate analysis of market shares
  • Accurate reports presented timeously
  • Ability to analyse and develop tactical plans from data.

Team Development

  • Successful, efficient and content team
  • Coaching and development of sales teams

Requirements:

  • Must have matric
  • Sales and Marketing Degree would be advantagous
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Regional Sales Manager witihing the pharmaceutical arena, with a proven track record
  • Must have experience within the pharmacy channel 
  • Must have experience with detailing Doctors and or Specialists 
  • Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical market.
