A leading pharmaceutical company has a vacancy for a Medical Administrator, to support the Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance (PV) Department and assist with secretarial and administrative tasks.

The Medical Administrator assists in the management and coordination  of  Medical Governance within the Pharmaceutical business. 

Major tasks and responsibilities of position

Medical Governance -  Training

  • Identify individuals requiring training
  • Co-ordination of training
  • Identify training needs for Medical Governance 
  • Assist in the development  of the  annual training plan in coordination with the Medical Director and PVCH

Support to the Medical and Pharmacovigilance teams

  • Administrative support
  • Organization of business trips to meetings and trainings (local, regional and global)
  • Logistics for external customer meetings: invitations, travel organization, reimbursement of expenses
  • Prepare and initiate new starter process of all new members of the Medical Affairs and PV team



  • Education: A relevant qualification with preferably experience in the healthcare field, pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), International and Local Medical laws, regulations and codes (International Harmonization Committee-ICH regulations, National Health Act, Code of Marketing Practice etc.) is an advantage 


Effective written and verbal English communication skills, interpersonal, decision-making and issue resolution skills are required.  

In addition, the incumbent requires effective planning and organization skills,  strong administration skills, computer skills, to pay attention to detail, excellent follow through and to be flexibile, presentable and articulate.
