A Leading Medical Company has a vacancy for a Sales and Product Manager within their Renal Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, guide and direct a team of Medical Sales Representatives calling on Specialists, Renal Units and KOLs in order to achieve Business Unit Strategy and Sales Targets.
  • Responsible for entire profit and loss of the Renal Product Business.
  • Development and implementation of Sales & Marketing Strategies and plans, in order to achieve assigned territory sales, revenue growth and profitability objectives for assigned product portfolios.
  • Conduct regular gap analysis to identify possible opportunities and initiate research to determine concepts or new ideas, review, get authorised by Head of Renal and implement accordingly.
  • Interact with customers to drive strategic objective of business
  • Optimise pricing to ensure profitability targets are met whilst remaining competitive in the market.
  • Regular updating and review of Price Files in collaboration with Master Data department.
  • Developing, implementing and continuous evaluation of marketing plans & market trends aimed at achieving sales and profit objectives.
  • Ensure forecasting is regularly updated with Supply Chain department to ensure optimal stock levels at all times to meet strategic objectives.
  • Interact with suppliers to ensure good working relationship and smooth-running operation
  • Responsible for development of advertising strategies and marketing material.
  • Have a thorough understanding of customers’ tendering & quote systems.
  • Ensure you are well informed of any upcoming tenders to ensure no missed opportunities.
  • Ensure good relationships with relevant Key Opinion Leaders who are involved with tenders to thoroughly understand upcoming tender requirements and how best to position the relevant product portfolio.  
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of the company & competitor products.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Specialists and relevant specialty groups. KOL development will be a primary driver.
  • Ensure all ASE’s are fully trained and competent to sell and detail their respective portfolio of products


  • Appropriate degree/diploma in Nephrology or equivalent.
  • Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical market and/or medical device market.
  • Thorough knowledge of renal market.
  • Sales and Marketing Management experience/qualification on this level will be advantageous.  
  • Good understanding of financial principles, good numeracy skills and proven financial responsibility (P&L management) in previous positions essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook/Word/PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Be a team player and be able to successfully collaborate with internal as well as external customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organising skills with the ability to prioritize duties according to deadlines.
  • Results orientated and pays meticulous attention to detail and problem solving.
  • Understanding of basic financial principles, good numeracy skills.
  • Self - driven, motivated, and hardworking.
