Intermediate Software Developer (Full time, partial remote work from home)

Opportunity to contribute to ideas and decisions, shape the tech stack used and advise on architecture decisions.

The role:

  • Understand new features / asign timelines to them
  • Work with QA team to unsure projects are delivered on time 
  • Documenting brief processes for Ops team
  • Delivering great source code
  • Documenting code revision changes, work progress, database changes and operational requirements in source code management system
  • Problem solving, offering innovative and realistic solutions
  • Work according to Agile methodology 

Requirements to apply:


  • Matric
  • BSc/BCom Degree / Diploma (or similar)
  • 4+ years Development experience (minimum)
  • At least 3 years experience  with basic web tools (HTML, CSS, javascript, JQuery etc)
  • At least 3 years experience in a SQL-based database (beneficial: non-relational DB experience)
  • Web applications and architecture knowledge and working experience




We have created an environment where you can make a shift to our tech stack, using your experience with similar language/s. We need someone with an understanding of how to structure, develop and maintain a web application. 
Examples of some (not all) of these languages / technologies:
o PHP (using an MVC Framework)
o C#
o A thin VueJS front-end with a Lumen backend
o NodeJS
o RubyOnRails


  • In addition to the web-application aspect, we produce microservices & RESTful APIs, and need to authenticate these interactions & scale for massive throughput. Understanding these concepts is key.
