A reputable Internet Service Provider seeks to employ a Head of Sales who holds a Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualification. Internet / Technology sales background preferable. Proven track record managing a sales area. At least 5 yrs experience in a sales role at an Internet or Service orientated industry in a management position. Experience with online sales channels, UX and online conversion.

Job Description:

 

The Company’s Product, Sales and Marketing division has a vacancy for a Head of Sales, who will report to the General Manager. The Head of Sales will develop and implement a strategy for all the sales channels including Sales Call Centre in order to achieve sales targets.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Meet or exceed sales objectives and targets for the Company
  • Take responsibility for sales budget and strategy
  • Meet or exceed ARPU targets to ensure review targets are met
  • Improve efficiencies in terms of systems and processes across all sales areas
  • Manage sales projects across various channels
  • Improve conversion percentages in all sales channels
  • Improve online contribution as a percentage of total sales
  • Drive excellent customer service in order to reduce TAT’s for customers
  • Adhere to and monitor profitability and commission structure to drive performance
  • Compile and present monthly reports to senior management and other key customers
  • Manage over 100 staff with a focus on BEE, learning, development and quality in order to meet targets

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification
  • Internet / Technology sales background preferable
  • Proven track record managing a sales area, with specific experience in managing a large sales call centre, inbound and outbound
  • Experience with online sales channels, UX and online conversion
  • Experience in rolling out new sales channels and developing new partnerships
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a sales  role at an Internet or Service orientated industry in a management position
  • Sound business and management experience at a senior level
