Maternity Cover - SAP Administrator

MATERNITY COVER CONTRACT - We are currently recruiting for an Administrator with vast SAP experience for a client based in Ottery. The ideal candidate should be available immediately.


  • Provide 100% support and backup to the Regional Trader (e.g. telephone calls, e-mails, internal queries, administration tasks etc. within scope and area of responsibility).
  • Set up diary, meetings and where required attend relevant Build It internal and external meetings with the point of taking accurate minutes and where required, tea and coffee for guests.
  • General range of office administration duties and store account and charge out queries.
  • Assist Regional Trader with new store deals.
  • Updating, maintenance and filing of all suppliers trade agreements, deal sheets and files.
  • Maintenance and upgrade of accurate, efficient records including but not limited to the following detailed Build It reports.
    • Build It Notional GP report within required deadlines.
    • All Members’ details.
    • All Suppliers’ details.
    • Promotion leaflet quantities and promotion feedback from members.
    • Price Survey of Top 20 KVI product lines.
    • Pass-on of rebates to members.
    • Listing of new suppliers and relevant reports.
    • Monthly leaflet charge outs.
    • Rebate payouts.
  • Analyse monthly results and the collation of members’ feedback of promotion leaflets.
  • Collation and follow up within required deadlines of 100% completed bulk orders from members for suppliers’ monthly promotion leaflet buy-ins.
  • Arrange supplier or factory training for members where applicable.



  • A Matric Certificate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, friendly, good communicator and a team player
  • Minimum of 2 years Clerical / Administration experience
  • Willingness to learn
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Computer Literate and a good knowledge of Windows, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SAP would be advantageous
  • Time management, planning and organizing required
  • Trustworthy, confidential and prepared to work independently within scope of area of responsibility
  • A valid Drivers License would be advantageous
  • Where required and with sufficient notice, be prepared to work evenings at functions and possibly the occasional evening away from home travel for work events
