E-Commerce Customer Service Agent

The successful applicant would be responsible for outbound initiatives across our client’s various products and via telephone, chat and e-mail. Quality engagement will be a key deliverable and measured by improved customer retention and loyalty.

Honesty and trust are vital for this role, as the successful applicant will have access to personal client information.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Management of customer interaction and enhancing their experience across the product range
  • Responding to customer queries by telephone, email and electronic chats
  • Processing and taking ownership of all outgoing contacts
  • Processing pertinent information into centralized technical systems
  • Completion of tasks assigned during shift
  • Problem solving tasks during shift
  • Handling and taking full responsibility for customer related queries
  • Excellent time management and adherence to schedule
  • Performing extra tasks given by managers / shift supervisors as required  
  • Make outgoing calls and execute outbound campaigns if and when required     

Key Requirements:

  • Matric with mathematics and/or accounting
  • Completed Degree or 2-year Diploma
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work in 24/7 shift environment
  • Transport is not provided, so reliable commuting is required
