Business Strategy Graduate (Contract)_Manufacturing Sector for our global client based in Randburg and reporting globally to impact on the Company's growth by assisting with analysis of strategic and business options, industry trends and competitors

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

 

The Business Strategy Intern will impact the growth of company’s business by helping analyze strategic and business options. In particular, the analyst will:

 

  • Build competitor and industry databases (Business Intelligence) summarizing key information to assist in decision making, and develop a methodology for keeping the databases up to date
  • Build business cases and analyze data to help drive strategic and business decisions in a specific country/region, in coordination with Global Strategy and Business development Director
  • Prepare and Analyze potential new business models in coordination and with support of the Global Strategy and Business development director

 

DIMENSIONS OF THE ROLE:

 

  • The client is entering an era of tectonic technology shifts – an era characterized by the Cloud, Internet of Things, mobility and video everywhere – and an era built by billions of new connections.  The Company will play a pivotal role as they enable the physical buildout of the Internet and serve as the material foundation to the new technology realm.
  • The Business Strategy Intern will perform a key role to identify key industry trends to support the decision-making process of the Client’s top management in an specific country/region on driving new business models for the company worldwide

 

COMPLEXITY OF THE ROLE:

 

The occupant will be in contact with internal and external parties in order to assess current market trends and build business cases with different perspectives and options for the Client to participate in specific Mega trends worldwide (Urbanization, Connectivity)

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

 

  • Research, build and analyze different industries, markets and players in specific geographies
  • Assess potential benefits and risks for the Client by entering new market segments
  • Understand and analyze customer needs on desired future markets

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor in Business Management / Economics / Marketing
