Asset Protection, Fleet Administration Specialist

Aviation: General, Gauteng Kempton Park

Safair requires the services of an Asset Protection, Fleet Administration Specialist, that will report to the Chief Financial Officer and be based at Head Office in Bonaero Park.

- Manage leased in aircraft/engines to meet contract and redelivery.
- Term management of leased airplanes so redelivery conditions can be met at any time with minimal input
- Ensure the specific contractual engine and airframe leases and terms and conditions are met during the lease term to reduce risk at redelivery.
- Ensure the maintenance provision of the leases are correctly applied and recorded
- Ensure all available reserve funding, warranties and credits are managed and claimed
- Ensure that the various MRO/AMO/CAMO functions are correctly applied to the specifics of the lease
- Ensure that any operation requested changes made are in line with the contract, recorded and Lessor agreed
- Ensure any operational limitations in the lease are visible to the operations department and managed and enforced
- Ensure complete and accurate month end reporting of hours/cycles/usage and power setting to the lessor for billing purposes
- Ensure invoices are correctly processed, escalations applied and deposits administrated.
- The successful candidate will be able to work independently with good work ethic and attitude and be able to participate well as part of a larger inter departmental team.
- Firm and assertive when negotiating with external vendors having the Companies interests in mind
- Must be strong willed and able to negotiate successfully with external vendors
- Able to interface with internal departments to ensure compliance is maintained by developing systemic controls
- Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification 
- Good IT Skills are required with excellent Excel and Word abilities. 
- Experience in SAM Maintenance System would be an advantage. [otherwise understanding of generic CAMO control systems] 
- The ideal candidate will have a background in aircraft records, aviation regulation, aviation quality standards and aircraft lease/engine contract administration.
- Attention to detail is essential
