Payroll Administrator

Finance, Gauteng JHB - Northern Suburbs

The administrator will be responsible for preparing payrolls and related records for employee salaries and statutory record keeping purposes. This position will report to the Payroll Manager.

Duties:

  • Loads new employees
  • Prepares input files
  • Captures and processes all permanent and temporary amendments
  • Investigates discrepancies by checking payroll against previous month
  • Captures terminations and transfers
  • Calculates and processes manual payments
  • Maintains and updates personnel files
  • Prints and distributes payslips
  • Ensures filing and scanning is up to date
  • Assist employees with any payroll related queries
  • Processes third party payments

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years Sage 300 payroll experience (not negotiable)
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Data integrity and reporting
  • Confidentiality of information
  • Reconciliations to ledger account
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
  • Experience from construction would be beneficial
