Brand Manager

Brand Manager required to join an online marketing and management services Company based in Durban.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for marketing brands.
  • Number focused, with great attention to retention rates, and other critical stats to measure brand’s performance and success.  Develop strategies to ensure optimal brand loyalty.
  • Assist improve brand reach and maintain a positive brand reputation.
  • Research and analyze of competitor methods and practices, and align and implement findings to help meet company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborative work with brand management team, creative team, support and VIP departments, as well as management.
  • Supervise and analyze campaigns to ensure brand consistency, as well as campaign effectiveness.  Report on campaign and brand performance.  Develop new ways to improve brand’s performance.
  • Oversee new and ongoing promotional and marketing activities.
  • Lead creative development of brand and marketing material.
  • Attend networking events to build brand recognition, and seek leads to improve overall brand success.
  • Build a following for our brands on social media.
  • Manage management’s expectations.

 

Requirements

  • Ability to quickly develop in-depth understanding of the brand and its position in the market.
  • Confident in producing work across multiple platforms, as well as working on an array of back office systems.
  • Able to align multiple brand strategies and ideas
  • Takes ownership of brand and is focused on the success thereof.
  • Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge.
  • Able to analyze data, pick out problems and strategize for better solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field;
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing or related field; solid references required
  • Knowledgeable in Digital Marketing, including developing campaigns, using online tracking tools to monitor campaign success.
  • Experience identifying and creating campaigns for the target audience.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects.
