Qualifications required:

Matric Certificate

 

Tertiary Diploma / Qualification – HR Administrative or similar

Special Knowledge

Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook (Including Basic Pivot Table, Mail Merge, Creating PDF, printing envelopes and stickers, creating spreadsheets, using data bases and doing word processing)

Proficient in Internet Searching and Analysis

Excellent command of English language (including spelling, grammar and punctuation), Xhosa would be advantageous

 

Ability to deal responsibly with confidential information

Roles and Responsibilities

Greeting visitors to HR

Answering and forwarding calls within HR

Ability to handle secretarial work of some complexity and variety in an independent and responsible professional and confidential manner (including postage and parcels received and to be distributed)

Ability to work accurately and efficiently with attention to detail while following established procedures.

Assisting with confidential documentation preparation as required by the HR Director

Prepare, correlate and monitoring of payment requisitions for authorisation and payment

Scheduling of appointments for the HR Department (including the booking of flights, transport and any other requirements for travel)

Managing and preparing the HR Boardroom via a booking system and ensuring the arrangement of refreshments for meetings

Assisting with the travel and accommodation bookings for all Head Office based Training – including the confirmation of delegates – attendance registers will be required

Ensure that all delegates booked for training are invoiced correctly prior to distribution of invoice Ordering of Office supplies and ensure office equipment is maintained as required

Maintain HR departments appearance and housekeeping

 

Maintain payments filing for the department
