Tender Administrator

REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric
  • Certificate in Project/Construction Management (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Electrical/Construction Industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and source new tenders daily on various tender sourcing platforms.
  • Tender database registration completion (Municipal and private clients)
  • Update database of new clients and targeted projects.
  • Act of first point of contact between the clients and the company
  • Ensure professional client relationships.
  • Attend tender brief meetings with clients.
  • Ensure timely liaison with clients.
  • Completion of tender returnable documentation at pre-tender and award stage
  • Facilitate the administration of tenders, tender reviews and associated documentation.
  • Ensure that all company supporting documents are included in the tender document.
  • Ensure all tender compliance documents are in place.
  • Ensure all company documents/details are up to date ie. CIDB, Beebiz
  • Liaise with supporting documents with regards to required documents for tenders. Ie. CV’s
  • Arrange pre-tender meetings with the procurement, financial, HR, SHEQ and technical department. Publish tender results and contract awards.
  • Arrange and facilitate tender compliance handover meeting with various departments.
  • Delivering accurate tender progress reports
  • Provide accurate tender communication to management.
  • Ensure that strict tender deadlines are met.
