SolidarMed Lesotho is looking for an IT Technician to support the organisation in all information technology needs through diagnosis, repair and maintenance of hardware and software components, to ensure the smooth running of computer systems within the organisation.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (work experience, qualifications, specialist training, key skills)





Minimum Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering or equivalent


1 years’ work experience in similar field (IT including software & hardware). Experience in data management will be advantageous.

Knowledge, skills & abilities

Good communication skills, ability to work under pressure within a complex work environment, ability to solve problems, proficient in database programming and software installation, knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems, good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles

Attitude & disposition

Positive overview of work environment, willingness to learn and acquire new skills, frequent travel to other SolidarMed sites, high level of integrity and honesty and a strong work ethic

Driving Skills

Valid driving license using a manually operated vehicle




Ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken Sesotho and English

-         Provide Technical IT Support

-         Maintain computer systems

-         Oversee the office security systems

-         Manage technical documentation

-         General IT support
